Great and informative

Lots of nonsense apps on the store but this one is just amazing. I love everything about it.

Entertaining & educational!

Photos and lots of info. Great app!

Best app. ever

This is the best educational application made for iphone i think. But there is a little mistake in "human migrations" section where the time line shows million years instead of thousand.

Underwhelmed

Graphically nice, but its nothing more than a timeline. Some information about the events would be a major improvement.

Save your money

There is nothing of note or great about this app. There was little to interact with. Seriously, it was a rip-off at 4.99. This should have been a free app that you down load check out and delete in 10 minutes.

amazing...

Its amazing how much information is packed into this app - and the presentation is stunning. I use it to show my daughter history (large-scale!) - and Im learning a lot as well. If you are familiar with the NOVA series, this is very much like watching an interactive version of that. [Note: someone else reviewed this as "just a timeline" - it most certainly is NOT just that. At any point you can jump into the epoch to see relevant imagery, animation, videos, and text.]

Wow

Very interesting

Great concept. Not enough information in each time frame though, interface is difficult. add more stuff

I love it!

I disagree with people who say it isnt interactive enough. Its putting all of history in biite size amounts to help put it in perspective! Id end up paying far more for a book that had this information, and this app includes videos, music and pictures! Great job!

Beautiful

I disagree with any who say this isnt worth it. Im a student in highschool, I very much enjoy learning new things, especially science, even scientific history. I also love music, not just modern pop or anything, I love more classical pieces as well, and Back in Time mixes both of the previous exquisitely. The music, if you ask me, fits the concept beautifully, as it feels like its playing a description of how, as time has progressed, things have changed so much in our small part of the universe, yet have remained unchanged at the same time. I sincerely hope that even more information will be added to this over time, though even if it isnt, Ill still love it. Hope I was able to put into words well enough just how much I appreciate and cherish this wondrous app.

Perfect!

Wonderful application for people who love the story of earth and prehistoric times. Beautiful graphics!

It took a minute to discover it all...

It falsely appears to be a mere timeline at first. It wasnt until I discovered I could click on the items as they emerged from the screen that I discovered all of the amazing video clips, facts, articles, and sideshows. A few careless errors in wording/grammar. Example: Big Bang section, item 4: Should be "resulted IN" not "resulted ON"... Its a shame to allow such careless errors to stain an otherwise perfect app. Other apps by this company have the same problem. A good copy editor is in order. (Yes, I am in the writing/editing biz. However, I dont think Im the only person who notices these things.) Its definitely worth every penny!

Info wizard

It gave me so much info. I LOVE this app. I now know so much more than I did before I got this app

Absolutely amazing

The very best. Hours of traveling through time from the beginning of the universe to present day. Videos included are awe inspiring, and information is backed by credible sources such as NASA and Stanford.

Good,still missing some things

Overall it was good but you guys left out the civil, revolutionary, and some of the major battles(wars)but it was still a good app overall,if you like history, its a good app to buy

Great for a Bus Ride!

Great for a bus ride home when you are tired and want to learn something and also be entertained. Interesting information with accompanying photos and videos!

Should be on every kids tablet

Whether they know it or not, every kid should have this app on their tablet or phone. Theres nothing else like it. Imagine a huge atlas with hundreds of high-quality photos and illustrations, only this one also has animation and can sweep forward or backward in time in seconds. This is just what a growing mind needs to help it visualize the scope of the universe in space and in time. Dry concepts such as "the Earth is billions of years old" take on a completely different meaning when you can slide your finger across a screen and actually see time pass! This should be a standard reference app for every childs electronic library.

Doesn’t work anyMore

Used to work. Haven’t used it in a while. Was wonderful when it did work. What a shame

Still can't get past the first screen

Oct 26 2018 - another viewer's recent comments are totally misleading. I was led to believe the problem has been fixed, but no, I still can't get past the first screen. It says move the clock hands and tap to enter. I nearly smashed my phone, no luck, never get past the first screen. C'mon it's been a year since the problem was reported, and you're still selling this broken app without a fix. Is it lawful?

App Has Been Repaired and Now Works!

UPDATED REVIEW JUNE 2018: The app seems to be fixed now and is working properly as far as I can tell. Thank you, developer, for addressing these issues! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! MARCH 2018: The app just delivered an update a few hours ago. I launched the app after updating, and I cannot get past the first screen. I noticed another reviewer left a similar comment from this past November. Do not buy because this app doesn’t work — not even with the most recent update! I have an iPhone 6s Plus with the current iOS system. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED!

Doesn’t work

Update for refund....agreed!!!!

Cool 😺

Cool 😺 Could be Cooler 😺 I like cats 😹
